Intrauterine pressure catheter

The IUP measures intrauterine pressure without the need for a water column. Compatible with all types of cardiotocographs, it reduces the risk of infection.

Intrauterine pressure sensors allow monitoring of intrauterine pressure (IUP) without the need for a water column. The advantages of IUPs are: the reduction of infectious risks and the simplification of intrauterine pressure measurement. This product is sterile, for single use, without liquid column. It is a pressure sensor providing reliable measurements of intra-uterine pressures. IUP catheters allow zeroing with the catheter present in the uterus.

- IUP 650 : thin sensor, the zeroing button is located on the intermediate cable, between the catheter and the cardiotocograph.

- IUP 450 : fine sensor, the zeroing button is located on the catheter

- IUP 400 : thick sensor, the zeroing button is located on the catheter

Indications :

Le cathéter de surveillance de la pression intra-utérine est destiné à être utilisé chez les patientes
nécessitant une surveillance étroite des intensités de contraction et/ou une amnio-infusion pendant
le travail actif.

Contre-indications : 

• saignement utérin d'origine indéterminée
• placenta praevia diagnostiqué ou suspecté
