This SP8 transesophageal stimulation probe is non-invasive and atraumatic. Its particular design allows it to be particularly soft and manageable.

The SP8 lead is intended for collection and supraventricular pacing by the esophageal route of short duration (less than one hour). It benefits from several years of clinical use on hundreds of patients. The design of the product facilitates its introduction, either through the nose or the mouth, and reduces the risk of trauma. The electrodes correspond to the particular constraints of the esophageal application where the diameter of the wall of the cavity is much larger than that of the probe itself.
